In 18th century Madhya Pradesh. Queen Ahilyabai Holkar designed ordered various craftsman and artisans from Malwa and Surat to design a special saree with 9 yards combining silk and cotton as a special gift for royal relatives and guests who visited the royal palace. Thus began the tale of the timeless Maheshwari saree.

Your Kaisori Maheshwaris is a royal tale in elegance. Woven with golden zari on silk and cotton, the Pallus are particularly distinct with their five stripes and can be worn either side with their reversible borders.
