Chitara is our newest collection, inspired by the timeless motifs of Bagh print from Madhya Pradesh.

Bagh, or Thappa Chappai, is a block printing tradition that has flourished for over 500 years. Each saree in this range carries the essence of an Indian summer garden — drawing from the beauty of nature, the ancient cave paintings of Bagh, and the delicate jali (lattice) work of the Taj Mahal.

At Kaisori, we work hand in hand with artisans who are custodians of these dyeing and printing traditions. Through Chitara, we celebrate their artistry, preserving India’s craft legacy while reimagining it for today’s generation of women.
