Sitara Collection

As October skies usher in the festive season, we are delighted to present our new collection, Sitara, a celebration of Bengal's vibrant heritage and craftsmanship.

In collaboration with the skilled Jamdani weavers of Bengal, we have created a design story in soft, elegant hues. The handwoven and handspun sarees feature a high 170 count cotton-linen blend, crafted into contemporary silhouettes with delicate zari embellishments. Each piece, lovingly handwoven by artisans from Kalna, Bengal, offers a seamless blend of tradition and modernity.

Designed to be effortless to carry and easy to wear, these sarees are the perfect companion for your festive occasions.

Note: The variation and irregularities in the fabric are a testament to the beauty of handwoven textiles, making each piece truly unique.

Fabric: Handspun and Handwoven 170 count saree, created by the talented artisans of Bengal.
Pre-order: 3 to 4 weeks from the date of order.

Care Instructions:

  • First wash: Dry clean.
  • Subsequent washes: Gentle hand wash at home using mild soap, after soaking in salt water for 10 minutes. Do not soak.

Returns and Exchange

Refunds & Returns Policy

Returns are allowed only for defective or damaged products. Gift card or exchange will be issued for the returned defective product only.

If you wish to exchange a product, a store credit/credit note will be issued, which you can use to place a fresh order online. Please note that credit note/store credit cannot be encashed, and cannot be used for offline purchases.

  1. Eligibility for Returns/Refunds:

    • Products undergo strict quality checks; however, in rare cases of defects/damage, email a photo and video of the product to writetokaisori@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving the order.
    • Returns/refunds will not be accepted if the issue is raised after 7 days.

  2. Return Conditions:

    • Products must be returned in their original packaging, with bills and tags intact.
    • Not Eligible for Returns:
      • Sarees with blouse pieces cut, tassels made, or falls stitched by the customer.
      • Minor color ordesign variations as these are inherent to handcrafted products.

Garment care

Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent or dry clean the product Dry in the shade only. For mixed yarns like silk cotton, we recommend dry cleaning after a few wears.

Shrinkage: Most of our sarees are pre- shrunk owing to usage of natural dyes to but there could be a minor shrinkage and it should be accounted for.

Variations and irregularities in the fabric are a hallmark of the hand-weaving and hand-blockprint process, enhancing its beauty and charm.
