From the backward districts of Ajmer prone to droughts and floods, a tribal community has been weaving clothing fabric for daily use.With their skill set an alliance was formed to spin coarse wool and jute into yarns to create amazing patterns in rugs and carpets.
A special range of Kaisori rugs are handwoven and hand-spun by this backward group of weavers in western Rajasthan. The rugs are interpretation of classic heritage patterns with geometric shapes to meet aesthetics of modern contemporary homes.
Variation and irregularities in the fabric are part of the hand weaving process and are part of the beauty and charm of the handmade fabric.
