Collection: Hand knotted Kutchi Bandhani cotton saree - Boondh

A Story of Ties and Traditions

At Kaisori, every piece tells a story of heritage, craftsmanship, and the hands that create it. Our Cotton Bandhani range is handcrafted by women artisans from Kutch — each saree a labor of love, each dot a symbol of resilience.

The word Bandhani (or Bandhej) finds its roots in the Sanskrit word “bandh,” meaning “to tie.” True to its name, the art of Bandhani begins with fabric being tied at tiny points before being dipped into natural dyes. As the threads are untied, what emerges is a symphony of patterns — intricate, vibrant, and endlessly unique.

No two Bandhani sarees are ever the same. Each is a one-of-a-kind canvas, carrying with it the stories of generations of artisans who have kept this tradition alive. For us, these variations and irregularities are not flaws, but the very soul of handmade craft.

Our CottonKutchi Bandhani sarees are more than just summer ensembles — they are living traditions, designed to drape you in the art and spirit of Kutch.
